I Love NHL Playoffs
What do you get when you take the greatest sport on earth into the playoffs? You get a month of the most exciting action that you will ever see or imagine. Which sport am I talking about? I'm talking about the NHL playoffs. The NHL playoffs are one of the most exciting and grueling playoffs in any sport.
A team that enters into the playoffs will need to win 16 hard-fought games. Each game that they win will take them one step closer to the coveted Stanley Cup. The Stanley Cup is one of the oldest sports trophies that there is. If you have never seen the Stanley Cup in person you will be amazed by its beauty.
Thirty aspiring teams start off the beginning of each year on their quest to win the Stanley Cup. At the end of the regular season only extinct teams will be allowed to compete is prized trophy. The other 14 teams will have a long summer as a wait for another opportunity to enter into the fray.
These 16 teams begin their journey with anticipation and excitement. People who enjoy other sports than hockey do not realize how grueling it is to win 16 games in the Stanley Cup. By the end of the competition the winning team will be beaten up, exhausted, and mentally challenged. There is no better time in a hockey fans life than the playoffs.
The last five years have seen two teams dominate the run to the Stanley Cup. The Los Angeles Kings and the Chicago Blackhawks have been the two dominant teams winning 2 cups each. It is extremely hard to repeat as a Stanley Cup winner. As we begin this new regular season we see that you teams are still considered the favorites to win it all.
You can watch all of the NHL playoff games on your cable TV or on the Internet but I would recommend that if you get an opportunity to watch a game, you take it. You will have to pay quite a few dollars to be able to see a playoff game. However, it will be something that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Whoever wins the Stanley Cup this year is not important. What is important is how the games are played. Last year was one of the most exciting playoff series ever. Hopefully this year will have the same intensity and excitement.
